You recently visited my high school, Tanque Verde. Your story basically saved my life. Early this week, I was thinking of ending my life. Not due to bullying but because of other reasons. You showed me that life is what you make it and that it can/will get better. You have given me such a hope and a will to see my bright future. Hi Gabe.! I am a student from Ella White Elementary in Alpena Michigan. Thank you very much for coming to my school. You touched many people’s hearts and taught a lot of student that you should not bully. I think it is amazing how you can talk to anyone about getting being bullied or about your disease. One time when I was in 5th grade a kid was calling me a slave on Martin Luther King Day. I took it seriously but I think you inspired me to not care what others think about me but what I think about myself and be happy for who you are and not let people hate you for who you are. I think you a strong, brave, couragest. I just can’t believe everything you did and you kept your head high through everything. Thanks so much I hope that you taught many students that BULLYING is not right and that it needs to be stopped!!
